The Apollo Pitching Academy provides just that: a long-term, comprehensive pitching and strength training program tailored to each athlete’s needs, giving them the best chance to make significant strides toward their goals.
Our mission is to help our athletes not only improve pitching performance, but also understand how to prepare, compete, and recover at the highest level. We want our athletes to master their routines and be the CEO of their baseball careers. Whether you are just starting out and need basic instruction and building blocks, or you are a college/pro athlete wanting to level-up your mound performance, the Apollo Pitching Program provides the framework and expertise to get you to where you want to be.

We begin with an assessment, collecting information regarding the athlete’s background, current throwing conditioning & mechanics, current throwing program (if any), and goals for future performance.
The assessment gives us a chance to get to know each other as people, not just as athletes - we strive to be a positive influence and resource. Additionally, the information gathered is foundational for building your custom program.

Using the assessment information, we create a zoomed-out, long-term throwing calendar ensuring we are on track for healthy development. From there, we build a 4-week throwing program (warmup, drill work, plyos, throwing) & a 4-week strength training program (correctives, strength, speed).

· Monthly throwing and strength training programs, delivered online so you always have them with you, allowing us to execute your daily plan at a high level
· Four (4) small-group, hour-long pitching sessions per week (Monday-Thursday) led by the Director of Apollo Pitching, followed by an hour of strength training led by the Director of Strength
· Each director’s personal contact information, so that you can (and should!) reach out anytime with questions, comments, videos, etc.

We work with pitchers roughly ages 12 and up. Athletes are grouped by age and ability so younger players are not thrown in with older high school arms.
No. We work with new pitchers, position players who are starting to pitch more, and experienced travel ball arms. The evaluation helps us place them correctly.
Arm health is the first priority. We control weekly throwing volume, teach proper warm up and recovery, and communicate with families about game pitch counts and usage.
We do our bet to offer make up options within same training phae when space allows. The more consistent your athlete is, the better their results will be.
